BARGOED CHAMBER OF TRADE IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD!!!!

Saturday 1 January 1910

Brian Jarrett & Ivan Hill visited the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth earlier this week and researched the Bargoed Journal for 1909 and 1910. There were a number of entries (watch this space) and the earliest one we found was in April 1909 which started the usual meeting of the Bargoed Chamber of Trade took place ……………. which suggests that it has been in existence for some time previously. Earlier copies of the Journal don’t appear to be available but the quest doesn’t end here.

If you can help provide information on the Chamber of Trade over the years then please contact us via the link on the home page.
