MORE THAN JUST A MOTORBIKE RALLY

Motor Bikes (and bikers) of all shapes and sizes gathered in Bargoed Main Car Park on Saturday 24th September to take part in the Rhymney Valley Town Takeover organised by Chamber of Trade member Dippy Hippy and fully supported by Bargoed Chamber of Trade and its members. More........

Mayor of Caerphilly Councillor Vera Jenkins was present in Bargoed to signal the start of the spectacular motor-bike cavalcade which travelled through Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly and Blackwood before returning to Bargoed where the Magnificent Machines on display in the car park in the afternoon.

Sponsored by BAG Credit Union, Fireside Lounge, Plasnewydd Hotel, Michael Leighton Jones, BJP, Fooks & Co, B Thomas Pet Supplies, Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd and Shadow a whole day of activities took place including a Hog Roast, Bouncy Castles, High Street Entertainers and Face Painting.

Many local businesses also donated prizes for the tombola and the major beneficiary of the day was local charity CLURV.
